Internet Banking Information
We previously sent an announcement that we were making changes to our internet banking platform. Today we are pleased to tell you that the new platform is now live.
The new service provides you with the option to receive your bank statements electronically instead of having them mailed to you. The service will store up to 12 months of your statements online which you can access at any time to view, download, print or forward on. We will send you a notification by email every time a new statement is available. This facility is free of charge.
Opt out of paper statements
Due to the fact you will now receive online statements you can opt out of receiving paper statements, and receive your statements quicker solely online.
If you are registering, requesting a token or opting out of paper statements, then please email: email@example.com with the necessary information.
Improved look and feel
We have overhauled the look and feel of the service to create a more intuitive way to manage your account(s) with FBN (UK) Limited. On the improved service you will easily be able to:
- Check your balances,
- Search for transactions,
- View and print your bank statements,
- Make a payment
New payment options
You can make your regular and one off payments (up to a certain value in any one working day) online with our improved payments facility. We have introduced 2 additional options (UK payments and Nigeria Payments) to make paying to UK Banks and First Bank of Nigeria Ltd accounts more convenient.
Once you register for the service we will send you a username and a password separately. You will then be asked to change your password to something more memorable when you log in for the first time.
We understand the importance of ensuring that you and your money are kept secure. We have therefore introduced security digital “tokens” that you download onto your mobile phones. These create a one-time pass-code which must be used to authenticate any payments you make.
What do you need to do now?
Step 1: If you are not registered on the existing service please email the address below and we will send you your username and password, under separate cover and not together, to the contact details that we hold on file for you. If you are an existing customer then the username and password that you currently use will continue to work on the improved service.
Step 2: To be able to make online payments you must request a digital security token, and we will send you instructions on how to download and activate your token.
Step 3: As your statements can now be obtained online and to help FBN Bank (UK) Limited protect the environment by reducing paper usage we would request that you opt out of receiving paper statements.
